The Group
3B Entertainment was founded by the brother-brother-sister team of Daniel, Josh, and Kate Brown. Formalizing an idea they had started in 1986, the creative forces began to come together formally in 2002.
Throughout 2004, Josh produced and directed Revenge a fan film based on the long-running, popular horror series: Friday the 13th. It enjoyed a limited internet release, and garnered praise from series fans all around the world. The Wait, an epic zombie picture; a project that never enjoyed the success of Revenge and was riddled with staff and technical issues.
The group branched out in the form of a pair of live haunted attractions. 2009's A Journey through Madness earned critical praise for its sets and creative scares, while raising a sizable food donation for the local food pantry. This was followed by Nightmareland in 2010; a much larger and more complex haunted attraction that brought in more great reviews.
Following Nightmareland in 2010, Josh began to organize a new project, based on all the groups' video projects dating all the way back to 1986. This project became known as Cheezy Productions: Jiggery Pokery, named after the groups original production company. Dan, Josh, and Kate, along with long time shooting partners Ed Post and Dave Johnston, looked through the many hours of old video footage to compile portions of the project. Jiggery Pokery required new footage to bridge the old footage, and so new material was written, and shooting took place over a span of a year, from 2010 to 2011. To make this new footage even better, wonderful new talent was brought in, in the form of Matt Curtis, Allie Yungclas, and Cheeko Camel. The project was completed in March of 2011, and screened for family and friends in April and again in July.
The new project has brought with it some new members of the 3B team: Jessica Bell, Daniel Berte (playing R.T. on The Wait), Lewayne White (playing a zombie on The Wait), Steve Kirby and a number of other wonderful folks have joined us for Right In the Cloaca and beyond.
